The most common tasks you'll run on Inscriti — keep this card handy.
Adding a student
- Tap Students → +.
- Type name, date of birth, grade.
- Fill custom fields (allergies, bus, etc.).
- Tap Save.
Inviting a parent
- Open the student → Parents.
- Tap Add Parent.
- Type their name and email.
- Tap Send Invite.
Inviting a teacher
- Tap Staff → +.
- Type their email, choose Teacher.
- Tap Send Invite.
Resending an invite
- Open Staff or Students.
- Switch to Pending Invitations.
- Tap Resend.
Handling an early sign-out
The Early Sign-Out tab is a kiosk for the front desk. When someone arrives to pick up a student early:
- Tap the Early Sign-Out tab on the kiosk iPad.
- Search for the student and tap their card.
- Tap Sign Out.
- Pick the pickup person from the list (linked guardian or approved pickup person). If they aren't listed, type their name to create a confirmed entry.
- Hand the iPad to that person.
- Have them sign on the screen with their finger, then tap Done.
- The student is officially checked out — signature, name, and time are stored on the record.
Printing a class list
- Tap Reports → Class List.
- Pick the class.
- Toggle which fields to include (name, parent contact, allergies, bus, etc.).
- Choose Export as PDF. Turn on signature lines if needed.
- Print or share.
Most common parent issue:
"I can't sign in." 9 times out of 10 it's Forgot Password on the sign-in screen — or they're using a different email than the one on file. Have them try the email you have on record first.
