For the front office.

The most common tasks you'll run on Inscriti — keep this card handy.

Adding a student

  1. Tap Students → +.
  2. Type name, date of birth, grade.
  3. Fill custom fields (allergies, bus, etc.).
  4. Tap Save.

Inviting a parent

  1. Open the student → Parents.
  2. Tap Add Parent.
  3. Type their name and email.
  4. Tap Send Invite.

Inviting a teacher

  1. Tap Staff → +.
  2. Type their email, choose Teacher.
  3. Tap Send Invite.

Resending an invite

  1. Open Staff or Students.
  2. Switch to Pending Invitations.
  3. Tap Resend.

Handling an early sign-out

The Early Sign-Out tab is a kiosk for the front desk. When someone arrives to pick up a student early:

  1. Tap the Early Sign-Out tab on the kiosk iPad.
  2. Search for the student and tap their card.
  3. Tap Sign Out.
  4. Pick the pickup person from the list (linked guardian or approved pickup person). If they aren't listed, type their name to create a confirmed entry.
  5. Hand the iPad to that person.
  6. Have them sign on the screen with their finger, then tap Done.
  7. The student is officially checked out — signature, name, and time are stored on the record.

Printing a class list

  1. Tap Reports → Class List.
  2. Pick the class.
  3. Toggle which fields to include (name, parent contact, allergies, bus, etc.).
  4. Choose Export as PDF. Turn on signature lines if needed.
  5. Print or share.
Most common parent issue: "I can't sign in." 9 times out of 10 it's Forgot Password on the sign-in screen — or they're using a different email than the one on file. Have them try the email you have on record first.
